On October 13, 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) issued Decision No. 2302/QD-BCT to apply official anti-dumping duties on certain polyester long yarn products originating from the Republic of India, Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia, and People's Republic of China.

On November 1, 2023, MOIT issued Decision No. 2866/QD-BCT, announcing the results of the first review of anti-dumping measures on certain polyester long yarn products originating from the Republic of India, Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia, and People's Republic of China.

Within 60 days before the end of one year from the issuance of Decision No. 2866/QD-BCT, the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (TRAV) received applications from domestic manufacturers requesting a second review of the application of anti-dumping measures on certain yarn manufacturers/exporters from China.

After considering the submitted applications in compliance with legal regulations, on February 18, 2025, MOIT issued Decision No. 421/QD-BCT on the second review of the application of anti-dumping measures on certain polyester long yarn products originating from the Republic of India, Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia, and People's Republic of China.

TRAV has sent review questionnaires to relevant foreign manufacturers/exporters for responses. Responses to the review questionnaire must be submitted via the TRAV ONLINE trade remedies submission system by April 3, 2025 (Hanoi time).
