Accumulated to November 3, 2023, 21 transitional renewable energy plants/parts (total capacity of 1,201.42MW) that have completed COD procedures have generated commercial electricity to the grid with electricity output. (calculated from COD time) nearly 761.7 million kWh.

Specifically, according to Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), by November 3, 2023, a number of transitional renewable energy projects have submitted documents to the Electricity Trading Company (EVNEPTC) to negotiate electricity prices. , power purchase contracts are still 81/85 projects, with a total capacity of 4,597.86 MW. Of these, 69 projects with a total capacity of 3,927.41MW proposed a temporary price equal to 50% of the ceiling price of the price bracket according to Decision No. 21/QD-BCT dated January 7, 2023 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

EVN and the investor have completed price negotiations and initialed PPA contracts with 63/69 projects. The Ministry of Industry and Trade has approved temporary prices for 62 projects, with a total capacity of 3,399.41MW.

24 projects have been accepted by competent state management agencies for the project/part of the project, 30 projects have been granted electricity operation licenses for the entire plant/part of the plant; 40 projects have decided to extend their investment policies.

There are still 4 transitional power projects with a total capacity of 136.70 MW that have not yet submitted negotiation documents, including: Wind power plant No. 18 - Soc Trang; Hoa Thang 2.2 wind power plant; Green Song Cau wind power plant phase 1; Ngoc Lac solar power plant.
