Thao starts the legal profession at ATIM right after graduating from Ho Chi Minh City Law University. She dedicates in the corporate practice and commercial transaction then focuses in trade, project and energy, infrastructure, bidding and public procurement, private public partnership and support on many successes in various clients in these areas. Her goal is to become a good lawyer and work in a professional environment, promoted to a Senior Associate in 2020. Throughout her career, Thao has got involvement in deals/transactions that got up to hundreds of millions of US dollar. The clients have been supported successfully: Vietnam Ministry of Transportation, Vietnam Railway Administration, Binh Son Refinery, Toshiba, PVCFC, etc.
Notable Engagement
- Advising and supporting 17 Chinese exporters producing and exporting long-fiber products imported to Vietnam in responding the anti-dumping investigation initiated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam – AD10 (2020 - 2021);
- Advised the Chinese Investor on leasing agreements, and other relevant issues concerning solar projects in Vietnam, especially rooftop solar ones (2020);
- Advised and supported 11 Chinese exporters producing and exporting colour coated steels imported to Vietnam in responding the anti-dumping investigation initiated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam_AD04 (2018, 2019);
- Advised a Refinery on legal compliance in its daily operation including but not limited to investments, biddings, contracts, dispute settlement, internal rules and processes (2017, 2018);
- Advised and supported Chinese producers and exporters producing, and exporting galvanized steels to Vietnam in responding the anti-dumping investigation initiated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam _AD02 (2016);
- Advised a Ministry in Vietnam in reviewing and amendment of BOT/BT contracts of 55 road transportation projects allocated from the North to the South of Vietnam (2015).
